
If you serve customers who are comfortable in different languages then offering your assessment or quiz in multiple languages can significantly expand your reach and improve accessibility.
In this guide, we’ll show you how to set up and manage assessments in multiple languages – without duplicating your entire setup – so you can deliver a seamless experience in every language.
Note: Evalinator allows you to maintain multiple languages for your assessments or quizzes without changing the underlying setup. So all responses and analytics can be done on a single assessment even as respondents see the language of their choice!
As a first step, you need to enable multi-lingual support. You can do that by turning on the option in settings.
As you navigate back to the start page, you’ll see a language selection on top next to the publish button. Select the language you need.
Now you can edit and save your assessment as you would a regular assessment.
And once you are done, hit publish and your assessment will be ready for use in the language you choose in addition to English.
When you have to send the non-English assessment simply use the URL available in your Share & Embed Section. It simply needs an extra parameter. you can append “?lang=nl_NL” and so on.
It’s very easy.
If you need to edit the way your assessment functions, simply save your edits, and then click Return to Main Assessment.
Then once you have finished making edits, you can return to your translated version and click Sync with Main Assessment.
Doing so will sync all the edits you made with your translated version. Any new questions will be added and any options you changed will be synced. And you can continue translating them.
